Shocking as it may seem but we love traditional lambic ales of Belgium. Spontalis is our homage to these spontaneously fermented beers. Spontalis is 100% spontaneously fermented (no cultured yeast or bacteria is added whatsoever) by sitting in our coolship for 16 hours and then undergoing fermentation in oak barrels.
Spontalis: Roseus is a blend of 1 ½ year old spontaneously fermented ale in oak & young ale matured in oak, double matured in our pink granite fermenter.

Pours unclear peachy blonde. Small to no head. Smell is intense, fruity, dry, oak, Petrochloride. Taste is very sharp, intense, tart, fleshy, mild fruityness. Dry, tart, lactic acid. Very mild acetic acid. Not bad !

Bottle thanks to Craig. Pours a hazy pink orange with medium white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is funk, oak, apple skin, lemon zest. Thin body, lemon zest, funky, oak, apple, nice tartness, very nice.
