Superficially this is a good fresh coffee beer. But how you get fresh coffee into a golden ale strikes me as being something they're adding extract to it which rubs me the wrong way.

Can thanks to Hoff! Pours crystal clear golden, medium creamy white head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is coffee, hint of urine, pepper. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, coffee. Medium body. This beer does not smell good, but it surprisingly tastes fine.

On tap at Spitz. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has sweet grains and a creamy coffee note with a hint of graham cracker underlying. Flavor has a combination of coffee and sweet grains with a bit of cookie supporting.

16 oz can poured, sent over by Hoff. Thanks! I feel like the lighter the beer, the more I enjoy the coffee in it. Shiny golden pour, with a patchy fizz head. A very inviting coffee aroma upon first cracking the can open. A nice creamy body, with a bold coffee to pair with a sweet cream. A sweet honey note as well. Could go for a little more coffee though, since it fades before a straw grain lingering finish. Mild coffee and cream front really works here, for me. Tasty brew.

Can. Pours a hazy yellow gold with small white head. The aroma is strong roast coffee, vanilla, dark chocolate. Medium body, roast, vanilla, cocoa, bitter finish, good.
