Can thanks to Chow. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is roast, licorice, wood. Medium body, raisin, licorice, toasted malt, wood, light finish, good.

Can from Final Gravity in Roseville, CA. Pours dark brown with a rather dark tan head. Aroma is lightly treacle, dark malt, maybe some chocolate. Med body or maybe a bit more. Flavor is not very treacle, has a lot of roasty, earthy dark malt. Likely hop, but I can’t parse it out. Bitter. Smooth. Refreshing might be appropriate. Not getting significant chocolate or coffee as rated for the foreign stout with the T, D and H name. I can imagine some chocolate in the malt.
