Bottle. A- Iron, roasty, cocoa, mild spice, nutmeg. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Bitter, cinnamon, roasty, dry cocoa. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, bitter finish. O- The reviews made this look promising and I do like this Mexican-ish Hot Chocolate type of stout if you will. No chilies here but again, promising. Very let down. Almost aggressively bitter and pretty dry and roasty without much flavor. Get the cinnamon, but this was borderline not worth even finishing.

On tap at Hughies. Pours a very dark brown with medium tan head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, wood. Medium body, milk chocolate, roast, vanilla, wood, boozy finish, very good.
