Keg at Beer Run. Hazy red-pink, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of tart raspberry, mild chocolate and funk. The taste is very tart jammy raspberry, mild pepper and caramel. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering tartness.

Green foiled bomber; bottled two months ago. 6.5 % ABV. Aroma is lactic, raspberries, vanilla, oak. Pours cloudy reddish-brown with a finger of off-white foam that reduces fairly quick into a skiff and collar; my second glass is completely foamless. Taste is tart (9/10 on a sour scale), light wood, seedy raspberries, hint of sweet vanilla. Champagne-like foamy mouthfeel. Good stuff, but a bit too foamy for me.

Very sour. Lots of sour raspberry. Some citrus, hood dose of bretta. Not quite my thing. Pale pink pour with great head and lacing. Tap at whole foods.

Pours hazy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, raspberries, tart, lactic acid and citrus. Taste is light sweet and medium to heavy sour with a long dry, clean sour, raspberry and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 22oz. It pours a small, dense, light beige head over a lightly hazy amber body. The aroma has lots of raspberry, with a touch of oak and lemon. There’s a faint lactic touch too, which is stronger in the mouth. It’s tart, medium to full-bodied and with a nice but quite heavy carbonation. Raspberries, lemon juice, a faint malty hint and some lactic acid. Lasting finish. There’s something about this that makes me think of fizzy, sour candy, and I find it very controlled sour, but it’s refreshing and tasteful anyway. Not the kind of beer I’d repeat though. 150607
