Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with some pear, red apple, peach and lemon. Light grassy and herbal phenolics. Hints of toasted bread, chocolate and rye. Pours an amber brown with a very large, thick, pillowy, tan head that recedes slowly but steadily to a thin film that lingers. This is a slow gusher. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with some rye, toasted bread and hints of chocolate. Medium light bitterness and faint alcohol spice. Light herbal phenolic notes. Moderate fruity pear, red apple and stone fruit notes with some light citrus. Light acidity. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with high carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer. Flavor is better than the aroma, but not amazing. Decent fruity notes and balanced malt profile, but in the aroma the fruit notes are too strong.
