Curiosity Thirty Eight was imagined as a beer fit for discovery with an intense hop saturation yet light drinking presentation. Fermented with our classic house yeast and imparted with character from a blend of our favorite Vic Secret, Galaxy, and Citra hops, it exhibits flavors and aromas of passion fruit , juicy pineapple, and mango. A soft body and ample mouthfeel contribute to a beer that is both well rounded and extremely flavorful. We hope it can serve as a valuable companion to personal discovery.

Canned 7/5/17 and drunk 7/18/17.
Somewhat soupy brass-golden, per usual with a well-retained, off-white head.
Bubble gum, pineapple and mango up front showcase both the citra and yeast. Tropical fruits build steadily thanks to the other hops with heavy tangerine emerging most strongly from the Vic Secret. Strong citrus and cracker lingering. Perhaps not as full and encompassing as many TH IPAs, though there's certainly nothing wrong with it either (no alcohol, heavy ester or resin).
Soft and yet quite citrusy, with strongly expansive carbonation, but yet it retains a creamy roundness on the end. Rich graham cracker-like maltiness that I wouldn't call overly sweet, but yet it helps augment the juiciness and mixes with the citrus nicely. Lemon-like bitterness lingering quite strongly giving this a bit more oomph than is usual for TH, but it's also only 13 days old. More and more I'm finding a good three-to-four weeks is the sweet spot for these big IPAs. Not quite as refined as C36 and C37, but that's quite possibly due to the age.

Can thanks to Randy. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is strong dank, grapefruit, resin. Medium body, pineapple, mango, dank, lingering resin finish, very good.
