Defenestrator is an annual collaboration brewed with our friends from The Cask Café. This ruby brown doppelbock has a malty aroma and mild fruity notes. Defenestrator’s clean, full-bodied mouthfeel complements the nutty flavor with malty, bready sweetness that finishes crisp for an easy-drinking, mellow doppelbock.

Tap at the brewery - clear dark copper - a nice mix of dark bread maltiness, lightly caramelized sugars, raisin - the tail end is little husky, so that lessens my enjoyment - warming finish.

Tap at taproom. Dark ruby-brown, small beige head. A bit berryish, malty nose. Medium-bodied. Flavour is also somewhat malty and berryish. Sweet, low bitterness. Not as robust as the best German ones.
