On tap at GABF, pours a hazy copper with small off white head. The aroma is toasted malt and raisin. Medium body, bread, raisin, caramel, very boozy, decent.

From tap. Pours clear and golden deep amber with no head. Aroma is phenolic and malty. Roasted and slight breadish. Toasted, breadish and slight caramelish. Bitter and toasted malty finish.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours slightly ruddy amber with a beige head. malty aroma. Med body at least. Flavor is sweet caramel with a nutty aspect. Not a lot of hop. Smooth touch of brown sugar. Nice.

On tap at boise co-op. Pours out a amber color with some ruby highlights topped with a small tan head. Nose is nice sweet malts pit fruit and booze. Taste is more of the rich malts caramel pitfruit and booze.

Draft at the brewery during the AHA Rally. Pours a clear mahogany with minimal off-white head. Almost looks like a cognac. Heavy fusals from the alcohol, and the malt is left a little restrained for the style. Moderate hops.
