This is a collaboration with our friends from Newtopia Cyder, a Strong Ale featuring 4000 pounds of organic Golden Delicious apples that we helped hand-pick in Julian. We added some rich and aromatic apple pie spices to balance the high gravity beer, and the result is a nice and warming fall sipper.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with small white head that lasts. The aroma is spice, wheat, dark fruit. Medium body, apple pie, nice spice, boozy finish, very good.

Tap@Mikkeller Vik, Copenhagen Pure Project TTO (17/11/2017) - amber coloured pour with white ringed head. Sweet malty with some nice apple prominence coming through, very sweet but not cloying, reminiscence of apple pie, medium body, with more apple and some nice warming spices into the finish.
