Taster at Cellar Door, Downers Grove. Brown to solid black, with a thin tan ring around the edge. The smell has a milk chocolate note with just a bit of chile, like the "Chocolat" style cocoa. Nice smell, but not enough in it to rate higher. Taste is a warm chocolate roast with a bit of sweetness. Whatever pepper there are hang around the edges. A lot of legs showing in the glass. But the palate is not thick or sticky. The pepper spice becomes apparent and warms slowly as I drink it, comes a cross like a fresh green Anaheim. Then a bigger green chile note at the final sip, just as i was starting to enjoy it.

Bottle thanks to Chow. Pours a very dark brown with small tan head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roasted malt and strong peppers. Medium body, cocoa, roast, nice heat from peppers, boozy finish, very good.
