Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy and opaque golden with an off-white head. Citrusy hop aroma. Medium body, a little malt and a citrusy edge. Somewhat tired mouthfeel. Not overly bitter. 130909

Draft. An unclear golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has strong notes of grain and hay as well as some sweet malt and sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of grain, straw, malt, and sulphur, leading to a dry bitter hay finish. Nice, but more like a strong German pilsener than an IPA.

Cloudy orange with a firm and lasting off-white head. Aroma has grassy hops, a floral touch, and a hint of matchstick sulphur. Sweet and malty flavour with spicy and grassy hops and a good bitter finish.

On tap at EBF 08. Lovely sherberty aroma. Really good American style IPA. Good tangerine grapefruit. One of the best IPAs of the festival. Faded a bit as it went on.

(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 29 March 2008, labeled "Lord Nelson IPA") Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with orange, apricots and floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus (orange, grapefruit) and earthy hops in the finish. Very nice hop character throughout (with Amarillo in the aroma and Admiral on the palate). Nice beer.

Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, as Lord Nelson IPA
Hazy amber color; creamy head. Delicate aroma, the hop leaves resiny traces. The body structure is ordinary, but there is some malt flavor, shades of caramel, and a good hopping; the bitterness is medium-strong, but with good fruity (bitter oranges, grapefruit) and resiny aromas. Refreshing, pleasant.

CBF07 sample from tap. Pours orange with a white head. Aroma is very flowery hoppy with citric notes. Flavour matches the aroma in addition it has bitter hops with a soft malt profile beneath. Good bitterness into the finish. Very nice.
