Weinig andere donkere dubbels kunnen deze Bornem Dubbel evenaren. De donkere dubbel wordt vaak met vleesgerechten geserveerd, zoals steaks, gegrild vlees, wild of zelfs worsten.

Аромат весьма просто если честно, немного карамельного солода, есть намек на темные фрукты и изюм. легкая сладость. Цвет слегка карамельный, пена средняя. Вкус для 7 градусов слишком водянистый наверно. Снова карамель с намеком на мед, почти ничего более. Послевкусие как будто с пшеницей, много солода. В целом дюбель в стиль, но слишком просто.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Brown colored brew with an dry sweet bitter taste with slightly hints of coffee and chocolate. Long time not drunk this one, an before Ratebeer brew.

Bottle from Lidl, Wycombe; part of a mixed Belgian 6-pack. This one's clear brown with a large beige head. It looks fizzy but I'm the mouth it's quite a soft carbonation. Malt is the main theme here, with brown bread, brown sugar and bran flakes to the fore. There's a bit of wood, then a strawberry fruitiness comes through it the end. Maybe a little thin for the strength, which does make it dangerously easy to chug. Significantly better than the Bornem Triple that was in the same box - maybe not as much complexity as some Belgian brews, but I love malty beers so this one gets the thumbs up from me.

Bottle shared at home. Dark brownish colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste ar malty dried fruity and sweet. Slight boozy.

Poured from 330mL stubby bottle (bb 11/07/25; abv 7.2%). Auburn brown with beige head. Dark dried fruits, gentle esters, toffee, underlying Belgian yeast, decent.

Bottle 33 cl. Chestnut, good yellow foam. Aroma: sweetish, a little spicy, caramel, a little dark fruit, dates, a little winey. Taste: burnt sugar and caramel, bread, a little spicy yeast, dried fruits, a little bitter finish.

Zapomniał człowiek o Belgii przez te ipki. Średni w stylu, aromat nie jest złożony, głównie nuty tostowe, po ogrzaniu rodzynki i wszechobecna mineralność która denerwuje, w smaku ciut lepiej, delikatnie karmelowo-czekoladowe akcenty finisz wytrawny.
Barva tmave hneda. Pena husta, dobre drzi. Vune kava, karamel. Chut kavova, trochu karamelu, korenene, koryandr trochu. Dojezd suchy, trocha hrejivy. Telo vyssi stredni plnost. Horkost nenulova. Fajn silne tmave pivo.
