Weinig andere donkere dubbels kunnen deze Bornem Dubbel evenaren. De donkere dubbel wordt vaak met vleesgerechten geserveerd, zoals steaks, gegrild vlees, wild of zelfs worsten.

Bottle via Lidl. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Medium bitterness, med-light sweetness, ABV hidden well, not warming at all. Nice medium caramelly toffeeish maltiness, light dried fruits and estery fruitiness. Very subtle spiciness. Overall very well balanced, easy drinking.

Barwa brunatna, klarowne, piana w kolorze jasnego beżu, dość obfita, dość trwała. W aromacie ciemne owoce, karmel, nuty prażonych orzechów. W smaku słodowe, karmelowe, orzechowe, ciemne owoce, lekko tostowe. Goryczka niska, wysycenie niskie do średniego, ciała całkiem sporo, alkohol dobrze ukryty. Konkretny zawodnik.

Servida en cáliz, color marrón caoba con espuma beige claro. En nariz es maltosa, se aprecian además notas de ciruelas, pasas, dátiles, algo de caramelo...un olor agradable. En boca es de cuerpo medio, predominantemente dulce, aunque el contrapunto amargo para mi es equilibrado, toques de malta, caramelo, regaliz, frutos secos, algo cálida, licorosa...Es una dubbel muy correcta y muy disfrutable, no puedo hacer otra cosa que gozar con ella. Me gusta.

Kolor rubinowy, piana drobnoczkowa, aromat słodowy. W smaku karmel, skórka chleba, cukierek kukułka, alkohol ukryty niewyczuwalna, napitku szybko ubywa w szkle, warto spróbować.

Bottle at home from my mum and dad. A clear chestnut brown coloured pour with a rocky beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, loads of dried fruits, nutty makts, toast, dried rye bread. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, layered malts, toast, marmite on toast, liquorice, dried prunes, woody notes. Light alcohol bites. Palate is semi sweet light tang, high carbonation alcohol bite. I like it.

Barwa rubinowa. Piana niezbyt obfita ale zostaje do końca, ładnie oblepia szkło. Przyjemny lekko pikantny aromat czerwonych owoców, głównie dojrzałych jabłek. Świetny klasyczny dubbel.

Kopparfärgad vätska med ett tjockt och rejält skumlock. Kakor, bröd och lite russin i aromen. Kakigheten återkommer i smaken men matchas av en beska och en munfyllnad som övermästrar sötman.

(bottle 0,33l from Lidl) Overall: Good. Malty, sweet and spicy. Aroma: Light sweet, spicy, malty, caramel, candy. Appearance: Clear brown - dark amber. Huge beige head. Taste: Medium sweet, malty, caramel, toffee, spicy. Palate: Medium body. Light bitter, warm finish.

Rocky tan head left a large creamy top on a chestnut coloured body. Sweet malt, caramel & raisin aroma. Medium bodied, creamy & sticky on the back. Sweet, malt, caramel, toffee & raisin tastes with a lightly hopped peppery finish. I'm not a big fan of Dubbel but that's quite good.
