Bottle from Lidl. Clear deep amber with creamy head. Aroma is bit yeasty and some alcohol is noticeable but nothing significant. Tastes coffee, roasted malt, yeasty, alcohol a bit, but not as high as with other Belgians. Not bad.

Bottle, 0.33l. Deep ruby pour with one finger frothy off-white head. Below average retention, persistent thin layer. Good lacing. Usual nose for the style, mostly malty with caramel notes. Thin to medium body with slightly aggressive carbonation. Regular texture, a bit fizzy. Bittersweet taste with slightly sticky mouthfeel. Aroma decent but quite usual. Caramel malts, belgian yeast, sugar. Bready. Herbal and peppery. Some bitterness in the aftertaste, a bit off-placed. Well hidden alcohol. Overall, ok. Pretty much an average dubbel with nothing to stand out from the crowd.

0.33l bottle. Dark ruby/brown body, off-white head. Aroma and taste of caramel, toast, cocoa and smoke. It has a bit sour grainy character to it too. Nothin to write home about, but drinkable.
