Blonde with chunks of yeast. Mandarin, grapefruit and banana aroma, even some lychee with a hint of glue. Citrus flavor with mandarin, with just a bit of herbal bitterness. Thin, with a relatively short aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Love the label and name combo. Would have loved to see this in an US-brewery version since I think most belgian beerlabels seem to have been made with microsoftpaint.... Anyways, Pours clear blonde, no real white head. Smell is mildly dry and has some grains. Taste is mildly bitter, with a natural grainy tasteprofile. OK mouthfeel, overcarbonated. Very common kind of beer

With ’soif’ meaning thirst, it is obvious from the start that this one is intended as a simple blonde thirst quencher of low ABV, as there are many around. It bears a rocky, off-white, irregular head and orangey yellow robe, hazy, completely clouded with deposit. Fruity aroma of orange, mango, banana, flowers, soap, coriander, cheese, straw and some unpleasant solvents, even a bit ammonia-like, luckily fading away after a while. Fruity and citrussy, fresh onset, light sourish wheat, sweet pale maltiness, dryer in the finish with a medium long grassy hop bitterishness in the finish. Ordinary - but quenching indeed.

Clear blond colour. Quite high carbonation. Bready, yeasty aroma. Light grainy taste with a touch of citrus and yeast. Well balanced and refreshing.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, white head. Minimally spicy yeasty aroma, fruity hints of melon and apple. Taste is slightly grainy, minimally fruity, a spicy yeasty touch. Unspectacular.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldenes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, malzig süß, leicht würzig. Geschmack leicht hefig, fruchtig malzig, Gewürze, blumig.

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, Brussels. Rated on 18.07.2010
Aroma has soapy citrus, some apricot, yeasty and floral notes. Flavour is somewhat spicy with citrus, Begian yeast, malty and floral notes. Quite basic belgian ale.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Hazy yellow / golden color, decent sized thick white head. Smell malts and some sweetness. Taste malts, sweetness, some sharp bitterness that reminds me of herbal bitterness. Fizzy carbo, average body.
