This creation from our brewmaster is based on a 100-year-old recipe of Ottakringer and for sure will make hearts of beer lovers beat faster. This historic beer composition made from Viennese malt, melanoidin malt and the finest Saaz hops captivates with its striking, amber reflections. The Wiener Original has a fine nutty note, and a flavour that transcends into an elegant malt aroma. The Wiener Original leaves a distinct yet gently bitter after-taste.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianco sporco fine persistente, colore ambrato limpido, al naso malto tostato frutta matura nocciola miele, in bocca è cremosa malto caramello noci miele note tostate, corpo medio, carbonazione leggera, bella dolcina con amaro moderato. On tap at Charlie P's, Wien. Clear golden with short lasting white head. Malty, bit grainy, sweetish, bit herbal. Quite bland. Stinks a bit.

Tap at Habibi & Hawara, Vienna, Austria. Pours loaded gold, transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is mostly cereal, recalling barley malt yogurt. Body is average, but feeling very thin at first, also a little oily, and with limited carbonation. Taste is medium sweet. Final is average, on the short side.

Can from Billa supermarket in Murau, Austria. Color: Clear orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Sweetish, malty. Taste: Sweetish, malty, caramel notes, bread / cream cracker notes. Light hints of yellow fruit. Light to moderate hopbitterness. Light hints of almond. Almost creamy mouthfeel. Ok Vienna Lager.

Rust and copper. Copper pour with ok head. Probably one of the few actual Viennas I've drank, and it's not like it's much better than the industrial junk I try in the new world. Light cloying tinny finish. Can.

Honey color with a huge creamy head that lingered and left great lacing. Sweet and tangy with fruit, caramel and honey notes. Long finish. Medium body
