As Ottakringer Wienna Lager, 5.4% ABV. Can, 0.5l. Clear golden/amber pour, two finger soapy off-white head, short lasting. Decent lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, malty and grassy notes, toasted caramel in the background. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, slightly chewy, refreshingly fizzy. Easily drinkable. Nicely balanced bittersweet taste. Malty aroma, toasted caramel, grains, grass. Bready aftertaste, subtle hop notes. Medium lasting finish, dry, slightly sweet. Solid thirst quencher.

Can picked up from a small Billa Supermarket and consumed at 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ Camping Kaltenbrock, Wilhering Friday 25th August 2023 after a cycle ride to from Linz. We're cooking Thai Pork and Chicken Burgers served with a simple salad. Pours deep amber with a fast disappearing white head. Some caramel and a little bit of sweetness, touch chewy, ok.
