This creation from our brewmaster is based on a 100-year-old recipe of Ottakringer and for sure will make hearts of beer lovers beat faster. This historic beer composition made from Viennese malt, melanoidin malt and the finest Saaz hops captivates with its striking, amber reflections. The Wiener Original has a fine nutty note, and a flavour that transcends into an elegant malt aroma. The Wiener Original leaves a distinct yet gently bitter after-taste.

Tap. Pours clear honey with large white head. Aroma is green malt, grain and winemakers yeast. Taste is light sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is watery with medium carbonation. Finish is medium long and mostly bitter with notes of malt, hazelnut, grain, winemakers yeast and lemon.

Pours rather clear, amber.. good white head. Smell is malty, bit sweet. Taste is very refreshing, bit bitter, Sharp amber maltyness. Nice Vienna, but nothing extreme. Very refreshing though, which can be Nice in the Austrian midsummer sun

Thanks to my parent for that one! Bottle looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry, a bit metallically. Also some light grasy notes. Okay.

Keg at Vienna Airport. Clear pale amber, mid sized hea. Fruity nose with some bread. Medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Mid sweet with mild bread, notes of grass and butter. Low bitterness. Solid malty lager.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, sugary malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass - hay. Flavor is light moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, bread, grass bitter, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151121]
