Bottle from Voldby. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit and fruity. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish with warming alcohol. 181116

Bottle shared at the July 2016 MDBG tasting, 7/11/16. Clear amber, thin fizzy off-white head, decent retention. Aroma of pine, citrus, honey, grapefruit. The taste is toffee, honey, cherries, lemon juice. Medium-full bodied, low carbonation.

Appearance- amber, cloudy, a small off-white head which dissipates to leave a few foamy bubbles. Aroma- fresh fruit, hops, orange, pineapple, strawberry, mango, grapefruit. Taste- peach, orange, strawberry, bitter hops, hop resin, firm malt base, hint of sweet toffee, thick and full mouthfeel, sticky bitter finish. Loads of fruit in this- very good.

Flarra. Klar bärnstensfärgad jävel. Doftar lite hav, lite apelsin, vindruvor och mjöl. I munnen fruktig av torkade frukter. Dadlar, fikon åh sånt. Tydlig smak av kanderad apelsin. NEEJ jag sa inte Cointreau. Bra beska och sen tyvär lite trisst träig eftersmak. Bra fyllig Dipa

330ml bottle. Pours reddish and little head. Aroma is just dry wood to me. Flavour is huge and really nice. Very bitter, little oak to ground it and then sour cherries to finish. It’s not balanced, but democracy has never done a good job at balanced.

Bottle from Tanakaya shared. Pours a beautiful pink gold with a small half finger of foam that dissipates fairly quickly. Juicy, citrusy hops on the nose with some pissy tropical notes and faint cherry as it warms. Warming on the palate with a thin body and average carbonation. The cherry really shines on the palate with the oak coming though along with a toasty oak character. Medium bitter finish that is warming. Really nice take on a fruit triple IPA with a bit of Belgian spark.

(Draught at BrewDog Kungsholmen, Stockholm, 8 Sep 2016) Reddish amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, orange marmalade, marzipan, treacle-toffee, red berries and resin. Malty, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, black-currant, caramel and a generous citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Quite powerful, a bit boozy and possibly a bit unbalanced, but with an impressive hop presence. Very nice.
