Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Black pour with brown around the edges and a minimal light beige head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Sparse small patches of lace. Whiskey, coffee, malt and vanilla aromas. Medium to full-bodied with flavors of oaky Irish whiskey, roast coffee and vanilla coffee. The finish is roasty with an Irish coffee aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

On tap at Avenue Pub. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roasted malt, oak, whiskey, vanilla. Slick body, vanilla, dark chocolate, roast, boozy finish, enjoyed this.
