bottle at RBWG, pours hazy gold with a medium white head. Candied apple nose, lots of sweet apple juice flavors with a dry granny smith finish that is a little funky.

pours cloudy golden, aroma Belgian yeast nose, lots of brandy barrel goodness, grainy. flavors, can’t say I am not fond of this barrel aging, plenty of fresh apple barrel. Always found the apple brandy to add this ncie fresh fruity side tot eh beer, nice granny smith apple palate. Mix of brandy and some dry-hopping for a mild bitetr finish. See the side of Belgian trippel with the wheat, yeast and some sweet characters come alive with the brandy aging. This one is ridiculously good.

Sampled at Sexual Chocolate Day 2010. 750ml bottle pours a crystal clear apple juice color. Aroma of crisp apples, candy sugar, vinous fruits. Flavor is sweet, candy sugar, tart apples, a little one dimensional. Full bodied, sweet to the end.

cloudy orange, small white head earthy, stale hoppy aroma. flavor is sweet boozy, aged beer, strong. not my taste. resemles most closely a barley wine. 5-2-5-3-12 --re-rate cloudy yellow, smooth small white head 2 boozy and citrussy apple aroma, yeasty, interesting sort of belgian with added apple notes. flavor is belgian tripel, apple juice, quite sourish notes, wood, booze, bitter spices. Beer is somewhat more sour than ordinary belgian brews, pretty strange. Sourness probably partially from the barrelling. The woody vanilla flavors are quite good and mellow. Overall impression, however, to me, reminds me of an infected beer, even though this might not be infected, it just tastes close to that. sort of like 10% abv cider mixed with a 10% abv belgian triple, then put on a barrel for a few monhts. 7-2-6-3-14

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with some sediment in the bottom with a thin off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of alcohol and malt as well as medium notes of peaches. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, fruit - peaches, and some spices, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The alcohol burns in the throat. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of iowaherkey. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Lovely sweet vanilla-like woody aroma AND alcohol. Solid body, lots of fruit and vanilla but completely dominated by the sweet woody accents - almost like a toffee apple. Lots of warming alcohol in the finish. Really, really delicious - delicious indeed! 280110
