The Saison Dupont Bio* is a top fermentation, blond beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Created in 1990 and together with the Moinette Bio*, one of the two first organic* beers.
The Saison Dupont bio* is a very thirst-quenchening beer with a outspoken bitterness and dryness.
You will discover a touch of citrus (especially pomelo) which even is a strenghtening of this thirst-quenchening aspect.
The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex but light beer.
The production is being controlled by Certisys and has the label Biogarantie®.

25cl bottle from ABCBeers, shared with Kermis. Thin creamy white head. Hazy golden blond pour. Peppery aroma. Very refreshing.

Look: clear golden with some yeast sediment at the bottom. Huge woof-white creamy head with good retention.
Aroma: perfumy and flowery blond fruit, aromatic herbs, a drop of white wine.
Taste: dry, clean, herbal hops with a touch of fruit, moderate bitterness. Light body, a bit watery even.

On tap at CBB's Saison Event. No to go beers but it looks like drink in on saison's isn't double price? A clear soft straw gold with 1cm of pillowy white foam. Fruity, spicy saison aroma with honey notes. Quite mouth-watering. A prickly zesty mouthfeel on a light body. The taste is similarly zesty, spicy - a touch of cloves, a bit of funk, fruity easy drinking goodness. It really hits the spot on the hot muggy day after work. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig fruchtig, Citrus, würzig. Geschmack würzig malzig, Citrus, minimal bitter, hefig.

(Keg at William K Annankatu, 20131229) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, fruitiness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were spices, fruitiness, malts, sourness and bitterness. Afteraste was spicy and bitter. A nice mild saison.

750ml bottle shared with jeevan. Quite light aromas, but sour, herbal, hay. A touch cidery maybe. Taste was light sour, light bitter. Wheat making itself known. Light body and maybe a tad thin, but enjoyable.
