The Saison Dupont Bio* is a top fermentation, blond beer with refermentation in the bottle.
Created in 1990 and together with the Moinette Bio*, one of the two first organic* beers.
The Saison Dupont bio* is a very thirst-quenchening beer with a outspoken bitterness and dryness.
You will discover a touch of citrus (especially pomelo) which even is a strenghtening of this thirst-quenchening aspect.
The long refermentation in the bottle ends up in a very complex but light beer.
The production is being controlled by Certisys and has the label Biogarantie®.

Small bottle at home split with Sarah. TRanslucent yellow / straw coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is earthy, damp hay, rustic saison yeast, what, hint of apple on the nose as well. Rustic grains on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet orange peel, doughly wheat and cereal, hint of clove or spice, straw. Firm bitterness in the finish. Lovely rustic saison yeast profile. Palate is frothy airy carbonation, doughy and grainy on the tongue. Classic saison with rustic cereal qualities.

Hazy orange golden color with a big lasting white head. Belgian yeast, fruity and some spices in the aroma. Nice body and a bit high carbonation. Fine balance between sweetness and acidity. Belgian yeast, banana, citric, some spices and fruity flavor. Lovely tasty ale.

Bottled 750ml. -at Svijet Piva Zagreb. Cloudy golden coloured, big white head, yeasty fruity nose. Heavy yeasty, notes of caramel, hops and spices with rather dry finish. Drinkable but boring.

0,25 l bottle, bought at Brolters, Bremen. Unclear pale golden in the glass, mighty white head. Rosted malt and grain on the nose. Taste starts malty, low roasted, mid bitterness, nearly like smoked bacon, some banana hints, synthetic sweetness, some parts of Pilsemer with bitterness in the aftertaste. Strange combination but it fits.

75 cl bottle. Hazy yellow, big white rocky head, slowly dissipating leaving lots of lacings. Complex aroma with lots of subtle nuances, citrus, yeast, perfume, soap, pears, banana, sugar. Taste is citrusy floral, beautiful sweetness to carry it out, yeasty, herby tones, dry finish. Round mouthfeel, medium body. Elegant.

Tåkete gulbrun med høyt kremete hvitt skum. Lukter røkt skinke og noe eple. Syrlig smak, noe bitter i avsluttningen. Noe pepperig.
