330ml bottle. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, husky-grainy, minimally fruity, minimally spicy-malty aroma, a bready touch of ciabatta, whiffs of mirabelle, minimally waxy overtones. Taste is minimally sweet, minimally husky, grainy, malty, minimally fruity, hints of ciabatta, a touch of mirabelle. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft, almost flat carbonation. Simple, cautious - not bad, not spectacular; needs more sorghum beers to find out sorghum characteristics. (This one is definitely more accessible than thedolo beers from Burkina Faso).

Fles 33cl thuis gedeeld. Maltig, grainy, gierst, zuurtonen, rozeblaadjes?, vrij zacht, lemon, zoeten, bittertje. (10-7-2021).

Extrem helle Farbe. Geruch fruchtig, sehr sauer, sehr hefig - das erinnert mich stark an ein leichtes Weizen. Auch geschmacklich ein Leichtgewicht. Wobei es außer den beim Geruch beschriebenen Nuancen hier nichts neues zu entdecken gibt und sich der Eindruck eines leichten Weizen erhärtet. Der Geschmack ist OK. Recht wässrig - aber was will man bei nur 4,5 % Alk. erwarten. Mehr Stammwürze und mehr fruchtig, aromatischer Hopfen. Dann könnte Hirse eine Alternative zu Bieren aus Dinkel, Einkorn, Emmer und Roggen werden. So allerdings wirklich nur für den Glutenallergiker interessant.

Hazy golden. Aroma is bread with many different grains, rather doughy than baked, a little rose, and some yeast. Taste is rich yeasty body with fresh sour lime. Quite sweet. Texture of a weizen. Not bad in any obvious way. A bit more hops would do good here.

0.33 l bottle from local 'Getränke Hoffmann', best before November 2021. Hazy, pale golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-floral aroma of carambola, lychee and rose petals. Gently sweet, malty, minimally bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of rose petals, lychee, apple and traces of lemon peel, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a little tart finish, maybe with a touch of cardboard. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting beer, quite unique, not really my cup of tea though.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma bianca fine evanescente, colore giallo molto smorto torbido, al naso cereali brodo e succo di pera, in bocca cereali cartone e pera, corpo leggero, watery, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro percettibile. Sarà BIO, sarà fatta con il miglio ma chiamarla birra è un complimento….. Bisogna provare un po' di tutto. c. Carrefour Germignaga 29.11.19
