750 ml corked & caged bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.5%. BB date 06-2014. Hazy orange-brown colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of mild spices, caramel, brown kandij sugar, dark dried fruits, spice cake. The flavour is rich, spicy, full of dark dried fruits, and very pleasant - but not too sweet. Sufficient hops, and dangerously drinkable.

Aroma: earthy, smoke, clove, caramel, banana Appearance: golden, clear, tan head Taste: medium sweetness, lightly bitter, alcohol, dark fruits Palate: full body, creamy feel, soft carbonation, long finish, Excellent.

From Smokestack Mixed 4 pack Into Blvd’s included tulip glass. A: Very heady with half glass of tan bubbly foam. Tawny orange hazy body with little visible carbonation. Head persistent. Good sheet lacing. S: Wine. Tart raisins and yeast mostly. A touch of dry wood. T: Drier than expected. Very winey sherry-esque flavor. Strong with alcohol. A little yeasty. Warming. M: Heavy but still crisp with a nice delicate carbonation feel. O: Not something I can see myself drinking regularly. I’m admittedly inexperienced with the style but still not my cup of tea.

Bottle at home not sure where I got this. Prettynlooking beer amber with nice one finger sudsy head and nice lacing. Nose is dark fruits and candied sugar. Tastes of fig, molasses, caramel, slight spicing, some wood, touch of alcohol warming but overall hides abv fine. Nice finish not syrupy or sweet. Lovely beer.

12 ounce bottle. Hazy garnet colored liquid topped by a mousse-like beige head. Fruity, yeasty malt aroma. Rich bittersweet fruity malt flavor. Notes of Belgian yeast, candi sugar and warming alcohol. Big and boozy with obvious Belgian tendencies. Finishes with hints of figs and vanilla bean. Complex and intense.

Bomber shared by Ray. A 10% quad from the U.S. A lovely honey amber with a big fruity honeyed belgian nose yeasty and boozy but nice. The taste is a boozy fruity belgian spice very nice but a bit too boozy. An interesting beer out of Missouri. Quite nice.
