Triple barrel-aged imperial stout
Complex, decadent, and massive, Black Tuesday is the perfect base for experimentation— which is why this triple barrel-aged iteration is fittingly dubbed “Grand Reserve.”

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 27/09/2025.
Lighter shade of black topped with a khaki head that dissipates edgewards.
Nose is big billy bollocks barrels, spice, booze, liquid fruit cake, dates, figs.
Taste comprises dark malts, spice, booze, vinous, port barrel suggestion, figgy jam, ripe bourbonics, spice.
Full bodied and fucken have some more, fine carbonation, light drying close with a good rising boost.
Solid BA kit.

A mild haze on this dark brown beer, a very small tan head lasts an even smaller time. Palate is remarkably light and crisp for the very hefty abv. The dark malt base is light but rich with malt cream and both dark and milk chocolate. A decent amount of oak induced vanilla. Who knows what the triple barrel is but, I am getting a lot of tawny port, a little sherry and of course some bourbon and bourbon soaked ripe fruits. All tangy and rich. Light smooth finish leaves a mild alcohol spice linger. Super duper, like a black champagne on maximum steroids. A wonderful example of what beer can be.

Shared bottle. Almost black color with beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, light coffee, vanilla, wood, alcohol. Taste is very intense with chocolate, vanilla, coconut from barrel, alcohol. I liked this beer, although it was very boozy.

375 ml shared by Heather_B. From her RS. Aroma bourbon, raisins, Brandy, oak. This definitely could’ve sat another 2 years. Base reminds me more of BA barley wine. Lots of bourbon, brandy finish with a lot of dark fruit. Booze certainly is not hidden. Hints of red wine. Strong, not harsh.

375ml bottle because GenDV138 is a jerk. Pours a very oily translucent brown. No head. Boozy nose, Kahlua, coffee or chocolate vodka, maybe both! This is just kinda gross, caramel, some Charleston chew, but all booze, vodka and Kahlua mostly. Hot finish. No thanks. Who drinks this willingly?

Way too much going on here. Literally made me yak after a day full of tasting. Black pour with good head and lacing. Syrupy pour. Very sweet. Caramel, lots of chocolate, lots of bourbon booze. Bottle thanks to who else - Gendv138.

Bottle thanks to William. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong bourbon, oak, vanilla, roast. Slick body, vanilla, roast, oak, boozy finish, intense, very nice.
