Bottled. Hazy orangeish golden colour with a big foamy/fluffy white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is citrus, some yeast, mild alcohol and sweet malts. Flavour is alcohol, some yeast, citrus, nectar and mild toffeeish tones.

@ Neerhof, Moortsele. Hazy golden colour, white creamy foam. Nose of citrus, some peach. Light sweet, light bitter. Refreshing, nice beer.

Pours clear blonde, ok white head fades to a layer. Smell is malty, mildly sweet, some yeast. Not much bitterness. Taste is bitter though, and very yeasty ( overripe fruits ) . High carbo, rather sticky mouthfeel. Not very refreshing due to the sticky sweetness.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. I am guessing this has some age on it. Nice Sharpie labeling. Pours with a huge white head over a hazed yellow body. Aroma of cobwebs, old books, bread, leather, dirt, candi sugar and rotting wood. Taste is sweet with cobwebs, bread, biscuit and honey. Lots of oxidation notes. Light bubbles and dry.

Had the pleasure of sampling this at the 1/27/2008 Pittsburgh ratebeer.com gathering and festival upstairs, Sharp Edge Creekhouse. It will be a long time, if ever I am invited again and I see a spread of bottles like I did there - ever again. I am not good enough for the beers that were that we sampled! For example, how about this beer; thanks yinzer, mark I owe you more than a dozen! Sweet aroma and a friendly attitude on the olfactory, mild and winelike. Cloudy yellow with pretty big particles in there. Serious yeast chunks. Barely any carbonation. Flavors of candy and alky. Just a little too much for my sissy taste buds. Quite an experience! Mark, you over did it!

750 cork and wire. Poured into a tulip glass. I had this last night, no need for note taking this was extremely unique. Arome was a tame gueuze, funky barnyard. Extremely surprised, the flavor was a lot more traditional with a strong sweet belgian taste and just hints of those gueuze qualities in the background. The sweetness might be a turn of to some but I love it as well as the wild characteristics. My only complaint is the color was a bit to pale. Low bitterness, above average carbonation, medium full body.

Hazy pale blond color; nice head; a lot of perlage. Spicy aroma, with malt and earth. Very dry front, then some malt and sweetness appear, to be dry again at the end; the flavor has spices as well (coriander) with a touch of lemon peel. The bitterness is ordinary. Overall, an interesting brew.

Bottled [BB 09/2007]. Hazy pale orange, huge cloudy off-white head, very good lacing. A spicey, hoppy, fruity, slightly alcoholic aroma. Fresh-lemony, slightly alcoholic flavor. Bitterness is short, palate could be stronger but otherwise world class "session" triple.
