Fragrance and taste of the “yeast-cloudy” wheat beer are distinguished by a refined top-fermented flowery-yeast character and an unmistakable, distinct banana aroma. First sensation on the taste buds is full-bodied, very soft and mild with a lively, champagne-like sparkle. A light, typical wheat beer taste is expressed, the bitter tone of which can scarcely be detected. The sparklingly refreshing Ayinger Bräuweisse will impress every wheat beer connoisseur with the first mouthful.

Pours orange from the bottle. A tall, foamy white head settles but lingers. Aroma is yeasty, a bit buttery, with strong banana notes. Taste is sweet with a bit of clove and bubblegum at the end. Body is light. Carbonation is moderate. I like the Urweiße better but this is not bad.

Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy orange pour, two finger frothy slightly off-white head. Medium to high retention, good lacing on the glass. Regular nose, wheat, yeast, grains. Slight fruity sour notes. Medium body, regular carbonation, a bit prickly. Fizzy mouthfeel, seems a bit light at first but texture does have good thickness to it. Taste and aroma pretty much what you'd expect from hefe. Some fruity sourness with citrus notes. Wheat, grains, grass and yeast. Dusty. Herbal. Usual banana and clove notes. Short finish. Overall, pretty good hefe. Simple but well executed and nicely balanced.

Bottle. Misty golden body, big white head, thick. Big, perfumey aroma, banana, red apple, rounded up by light phenols. On point. Taste... fine enough. Nice caramelly wheat malt undertones, light banana, vanilla, there are actually vanilla notes here!,Light phenols, nicely creamy. World class hefe, no doubt there!

Bottle from German beersupermarket. A decent beer, felt like a wheat lager more than most hefeweizen, a bit thin. (24/11/17) - Bottle from Systembolaget. I wasn't such a fan of this this time round. Bit sickly. 3.2 to 3.1.
