The St. Sebastiaan Golden is a golden, heavy fermented abbey beer with a distinctive fruity aroma and subtle hints of elaborately selected herbs. This St. Sebastiaan has a nice balance between sweet and bitter and has a nice full-bodied taste with a soft, malty aftertaste.

Frothy, off-white head, diminishing fast. Sweetish flavor ith a hint of sourness. Hops, citrus and a bit of cinnamon in aroma and flavor. Thin beer, and the alcohol content is hardly noticable. The beer would be much better if it had more body.

Sample@Ølfestival København 2018 (Day 3) - fuzzy golden pour with a white head. Fruity and light malty with some citric lemon flavour, yeast, caramel, medium body, touch of citric spice into the sweet malty finish.

500mL bottle, pours a clear copper golden with a large white head. Aroma brings out a very nice Belgian yeast, light candied sugar, and light esters. Flavour is quite boozy, with Belgian yeast, light candied sugar, and a hint of esters. Very boozy, lacking some cohesion. It's alright.

T: malty, fruity, honey, warming alcohol, spicy, coriander, grassy, caramel, medium body, medium carbonation, not bad, even enjoyed a little but boring, 0,5l bottle from Cora Woluwe-Saint-Lambert in Brussels.

From old tasting notes. Cloudy amber orange color. Light zesty butterscotch malt aroma. Bittersweet toffeeish flavor with lots of maltiness and spicy hops. Bittersweet dry finish. Sweet cloying aftertaste.

Geel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet en kruidig, licht bitter met iets van anijs en drop en licht fruitig. Heel gebalanceerd wat smaak betreft. Erg goed.

7,6% alc. 50 cl bottle bought at Alcampo, served in La Trappe chalice. Pours copperish amber with huge ivory head. Aroma is orange, iron filings, cookie dough, white flowers. Round, full-bodied, slightly sweet and slightly bitter. Long lasting. Not bad, although it seems too expensive to me (6,30€ per half litre). I agree that it comes with a nice bottle one might keep for water, though.
