One of those attempts by Belgian family brewers to connect with the new wave of IPAs in this country, since 2008. Snow white, creamy head, deep golden colour, aroma of pale malts, leafy hops, caramel, pear and some DMS (cooked cabbage); taste softly malty in onset, rounded, bit of caramel, quickly overpowered by a strong, citrussy and leafy hop bitterness, finish long and dry. I applaud all efforts made to make the Belgian public familiar with IPAs and this is no exception.

Geschmack fruchtig, hefig, sehr würzig, etwas Honig, minimal alkoholisch.

Shared 330 ml bottle, probably from Voldby Købmandsgaard, at local tasting, as Buffalo Bitter Belgian Ale. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Very nice aroma, hints of fruits, herbs, gewürztraminer, almond chocolates and almonds. Fresh and herbal flavour, very enjoyable. Not as sweet as I expected from a Belgian ale. Would certainly buy again.
