Farm House ale is brewed with perhaps the finest barley we have worked with giving it a base character like no other. Almost as if the actual honey added has not fermented out. A pleasing dryness, dancing carbonation and light addition of loral and saaz hops keep the beer in perfect balance.

Bottle at Shelton Festival. Pours a hazy yellow with large frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus, floral, yeast. Light body, citrus, yeast, earthy malt, dry finish, very good.

Cloudy, pale-golden, rather wit bier-like appearance. Small, off-white head shows moderate retention.
Lemon and lactic acid up front in the nose set the stage for a very dry overall character as biscuity wheat and cracker-like malts give a good rustic graininess. As it warms and breathes, the lactic acid softens, as does the lemony hop character, allowing for a plethora of farmy, funky, house yeast. Tons of minerals mix with light cereal character, moderate pepper and a bit of dough to really showcase both yeast and grain. No alcohol or flaw.
Soft and chewy in the mouth, as expected with wheat and other grains/malts for days. I’m particularly curious about the noble hops mentioned in the commercial description as there is a ton of lemon, tangerine and and fresh, green, dank hop character on the end. Must be Mandarina or Hallertauer Blanc. Are those still considered noble hops? Because they sure don’t smell/taste/act like it. Anyways, light white pepper phenols mix with cereal and biscuit tones as bubble gum esters gently soften and sweeten the finish, in concert with very light honey suggestions from the malt. Farmy/mineral-rich house yeast character is glorious and the beer is very dry, yet with a supple texture and no alcohol or flaw, or hop resins. Never gets intense or aggressive in any one character. Mild through and through. Another great one from Kent Falls...
