Can split at L6, from an IP trade care of Stevoj, 20/08/18. Pitch black with a well presented tan cap. Nose is bitter roast, dark chocolate, light spice, toffee, dusty fruits. Taste comprises chocolate dipped raisins, charr, mellow roast, toffee, bitter dark fruit rinds, roast malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough stout.

Can shared at Columbus tasting, 20/08/2018. Many thanks to Colin for this one. A dark black brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is tangy. Dried fruit, waxy, licquoeice. Brown sugars.. Flavour is composed of tangy woody raspberry. Cocoa,.. Woody raspberry.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Twangy dark malts, some oat biscuit sweetness. Little tangy coffee and aged dark malt oxidisation. Light semi dry finish. Fine.

From old tasting notes. Opaque black color with a rocky tan head. Rich roasted malt aroma has chocolatey notes. Smoky malt flavor with hints of cocoa licorice and coffee. A real chewy mouthfeel.mlong roasty malt finish an a dose of spicy hops to boot.

Pours black from the can into the plastic cup. The thick, frothy head lingers for some time amid sticky lacing. Aroma is burnt toast, smokey, strong tobacco notes. Taste is bitter, lots of smoke. Finishes the same, but turns increasingly dry. Body is thick and the beer has a rich, creamy feel in the mouth. Overall quite good.
