A rich, well balanced Foreign style Stout with a generous amount of roasted barley. Complex hop sequencing creates superbly balanced flavor.

Can sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks avrashi. Very dark brown to black. Nice aroma of dark chocolate, cocoa notes and faint "green" coffee hints. Somewhat roasty flavor with chocolate and a bit of coffee notes. Medium-bodied. A decent Stout.

Can. Huge thanks to IrishBoy for swinging by and personally delivering my last US state tick! Pours deep clear black with a medium creamy dark brown head that slowly dissipates with very nice lacing. Aroma is room filling roasty, coffee, lightly burned notes. Light to medium sweet, very dark roasted and coffee notes, some cigarrettes, only a light bitterness that seems more coffee/ashy than hops derived. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel. This is a good example of the style, and at 6% a nice beer to drink mid-day.
