On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a cloudy brown with small tan head. The aroma is roasted malt and cocoa. Medium body, rich, roasted malt, lactose, light finish, good.

12 oz. can. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Heavy carbonation. Aroma of roasted malt, lactose, nuts, faint smokiness. Similar taste. Maybe hints of coffee and chocolate.

Pours dark brown from the can. Light tan head that fades fairly quickly. Aroma is toast, light cigarette smoke. Taste is milky sweet with a mild burnt bitterness on the backside. Body is light to medium with carbonation a touch above average. Not bad.

On tap. Tan head and black color. A-semi sweet chocolate, roasty, sweet dark malt. T-chocolate, creamy, roasty. Medium to full mouthfeel.
