Bottle at home in London. Pours red-brown with a quickly fading, red-beige foam head. Sweet chocolate snout, some cocoa candies. Sickly sweet flavor, some dark bread, sugary artificial chocolate syrup. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sickly sweet finish, all dark sugar and artificial chocolate, a bit of well-done meat. I’m just really not sure there’s a good ’Sweet Stout’ out there. Please, someone, somewhere, make a decent Sweet Stout.

Very black, some redness. Beautiful brown head. No smell at all. Tastes like a sugar bomb, pure sugarness. Hardly any carbo, sugar body. Did i mention sugar yet?

Bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Dark brown color, with a deep dark red glow coming through. Smell nothing. Taste sweet, sugar. Weird stout, don’t like it. Fizzy carbo, medium body.

Dark black colour, tan head. Aroma rather weak, roasted malts, some coffee, some sweetness. Flavour mostly sweet malty, like drinking an overly sweet vitamaltz or sweetened kvass. Finish sweet.

Bottle. Pours black, but the tan head isn’t up to the picture shown here. Smooth burnt malt aroma. Medium with mild carbonation. It’s sweet. Like milk stout. It has some hop, but that’s a side issue, even in the finish. Eventually the nose seems cola. An ok beer, but not a complex beer.

Black with a small tan head. Aroma of malt and milk chocolate, with a herbal touch. Sweet flavour of molasses and unfermented wort, like one of the more cloying Czech dark beers. A hint of roast malt and dark chocolate in the finish

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured with the smallest foamy layer; sweet caramel and roasted malt and burnt sugar in the nose; light to medium bodied, moderate sweet flavour; restrained fruity traces in the (burnt)sugary-caramelly finish. Tastes like a german Malzbier, but heavy on alcohol.......
