Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a hazy rose gold with small white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong earth, oak, funk, blueberry, floral. Thin body, passionfruit, blueberry, light funk, oak, nice tartness, fruity, enjoyed this.

On tap at El Bait Shop, pours a hazy bright red with a small pink head. Aroma brings out tart blueberries, musty notes, and some rotting notes. Flavour just doesn't reveal a mice harmony between the fruit, with musty blueberry, old passionfruit and earthy stale notes. Disharmonious, sharp and lacking drinkability. No good.

Draught at Ginger Man Boston, 9/13/18.
Clear, cherry-red body is topped by a pink head that fizzles out to nothing rather quickly.
Very nice fruit character in the nose almost perfectly expresses a floral, spicy, juicy, tart blend of the two fruits. Not much beer behind it, though.
In the mouth it shows big passion fruit notes up front; leathery-earthy goodness with lightly spicy, peppery, seedy blueberry following. Again, like the nose, there's very little beer character here. Somewhat too acidic, almost puckering finish needs some malt or more wheat for both texture and balance. Very thin for its size. Pretty mediocre, other than the awesome passion fruit character. Used to be more impressed by fruit expression, but doesn't take a rocket scientist to dump fruit in to a beer.

Keg at Funk Factory at their GTMW pre-party, 8/10/18. Hazy purple, no head. Aroma of tart cranberry, pepper, passion fruit. Taste is cranberry, passionfruit, pale malt. Lingering tartness.
