Can thanks to Kyle. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is roast and pine. Slick body, roast, earthy malt, resin finish, good.

Pounder: Pine needle and charcoal nose. Mahogany, firm medium tan head, good lace. Pine, tar, licorice. Medium bidy, soft carbonation. A tad sweet but a very nice representation of the style.

Can thanks to hershiser2. Near black, large foamy brown head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, citrus, pine. The taste is chocolate, roast, grapefruit zest. Medium bodied, moderate lingering bitterness. Simple but well executed.

16 oz can, bought from Dominion Wine and Beer. Poured a pitch black color with a fluffy tan head. Aroma was pine, roasted malts. Flavor had nice light pine resin, roasted but not burnt malts (so many black IPAs taste burnt to me). This is really smooth and creamy. Really nice.

16 oz can poured into a tulip. Black with light tan head. Aromas of citrus, pine, roasty notes. Tastes of citrus, roasty notes, pine, light floral notes, a little caramel sweetness. Medium body with a dry finish. Nicely balanced black IPA.
