A little sweet. Would probably be better on nitro.

Bottle shared at Chriso’s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Huge thanks to whomever brought this. clear ruby red amber coloured pour with a halo of cream head. Aroma is dark choc, light soy sauce, powdered choc, nutty. Nice milky, nutty, nutella, praline. Palate is low carbonation, milky, a bit dull. Lingering dark choc and light roast.

Bottle from GBBF 2014 and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Creamy dark chocolate aroma, I mean a lot of chocolate it’s a bit like sniffing a bar of Bournville Cadburys chocolate to be honest but a bit creamier. More of the same in the mouth, but no heaviness, it’s quite light at heart. A little roastyness. It’s fine. Not really my thing, but at least no obvious lactose to put me off. Aroma is attractive. Everything else is good but just not my style of beer. Prefer something drier, hoppier, blonder and generally more like an ipa. But then that’s just me.
