Deep, rich chocolate flavor with smooth barrel character and low roast. This imperial stout has spent 15 months in a variety of barrels including 1792, WLW, OWA, Buffalo Trace, and Elijah Craig. Blend 4 is aged with barrel-aged maple syrup and vanilla. This beer was brewed with Ellison Brewing + Spirits in East Lansing, MI as part of the BSP membership.

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a small tan head nose is sweet maple chocolate vanilla bourbon kick. Taste is more of the nice chocolate vanilla maple bourbon.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong maple, roast, vanilla bean, wood, bourbon. Slick body, bourbon, roast, cocoa, vanilla, maple, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.
