A sour ale that has qualities of darker brews. Grape flavor adds to the overall feel of the brew, which is backed by some vanilla and earthy tones. This is a very smooth, malty sour brew, making it very drinkable for the style.

On tap at GTOM. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is leather, vinegar, sour fruit, oak. Similar flavors to nose, nice tartness, very good.

Draft at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Deep opaque brown body, thin to medium tan head. Sour, funky, balsamic nose with tart fruitskin and vague roast. Tart, nearly puckering body, sharp with sour fruit and murky roast, with woody bitterness in the finish. Vinous and complex, with nice bite and no foul off-notes.
