Sampled from the tap at the Malt House. Pours a clear red with an amber hue with a near head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of earthy grains and wet wood with a hint of tart red fruits. Flavor has earthy tart red fruits with wet wood and earthy grain backing.

Tap at Old Fashioned. A pretty nice mellow Oud Bruin. Amber-brown, deep stained glass color. Oily, glass rimming, minimal head. Light cherry lactic tones. Smooth brown malt. Medium bodied. OK, a pretty good offering.

A reddish copper ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, a weird grassy malt with sour cabbage, pickles, strange. In mouth, a sweetish sour and watery interpretation, with sour cherries, a bit off. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.
