Surprisingly sweet, slightly fruity but with nice bitterness at the end. Golden, with a fine white foam. Fruity, creamy on the palate. Pleasant bitterness at the end of a sip thanks to Czech and French hops.

330ml Bottle - Golden with a white head. Grass, hay and citrus in the aroma. Bready taste with lemon, yeast, hay and grass. Drinkable but punches under its weight for a beer of this type and strength.

*Old rating, best before 05.2010. Slightly sweetish and yeasty golden beer. A bit grainy-sweetish, smooth, a bit too sweetish for me.

Hazy to cloudy pale amber colour, good frothy off-white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma is fruity, with sweet malts, honey, peach, some caramel, spices, coriander, yeasty notes, some alcohol. Taste medium sweet and bitter fruity, spices. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonationn, finish light bitter, fruity and herbal notes.

Bottle brought by a friend, medium sample. Hazy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of grainy malt, bit flowery hop, slight funky touch, citric. Bit sour in taste, bit sweet. Slight spicy as well. A typical belgian blonde beer, turned a bit sour and catching up some lambic notes, which most likely wasnt intentional. And not in a good way either.

The blonde one in this series, since 2007. Rather thin, off-white, quickly dissipating head, colour peach blonde with orange glow, misty. Very fruity aroma of peach, pear, pineapple, orange peel, sweet white wine, brandy, coriander and honey. Soft sweet taste, even a little bit sugary, smooth caramel malt base, bit apply, finish mildly hoppy and a bit alcoholic - which is surprising for a beer of relatively low strength. Could have been better.

Bottle split on the train to Twickers, big thanks to Fergus for bringing me this one, 28/12/13. Hazed golden with a good sized off white head (bottle cam !). Nose is yeast esters, spice, stewed fruits, bread dough. Taste comprises orange peel, hay, toffee, lick of booze, faint yeast notes, dried apricots. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle. Ok Belgian offering.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 02/2014.
