12 ounce bottle. Dark brown, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, dark fruits, vanilla, oak, coffee. The taste is booze, chocoalte, toffee, oak, vanilla, charred oak, dark fruits. Medium bodied, low carbonation, a little harsh in the booze, even with a bit of age on it.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Sparrow, 6/9/15
Aroma: The aroma is strongly boozy/vanilla,with dark malts, chocolate, and brown sugar
Appearance: Pours a dark brown-black color with a brown color head and light, spotty lace.
Flavor: Similar flavor, with booze, sweet malts, and a bit of smoke as well
Palate: The body is fairly full, with average to lively carbonation, and a fairly hot finish
Overall Impression: Pretty much what I thought it was going to be. It is a solid Imperial Stout that is dominated by the high alcohol content in both the feel and the flavor. Not a standout, but solid. When there's this much going on, sometimes it's hard to tell how good the craft is, this is one of those cases.
