Boozy, tart and heavy, bourbon and chocolate but also tart red berries and some dry roast. Maybe a touch i fected, maybe just not right up my alley. Rating redacted in case of infection, would be 3.8.

A bit heavy, roasty and slightly earthy with some spicy notes, berries and barrel, hints of stingy woody booziness and tartness. A bit unbalanced, feels a bit off

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, very thick fluid, not much head. Aroma is liquorice, some nutty tones with mild chocolate, syrup. and some rye tones. Flavour is liquorice, some floral, chocolaty, syrup, figs and mild meaty tones with some alcohol. Kind of figgy and bacony aftertaste.

Bottle sample from MJ. Black with little brown head. Dark chocolate, some soy sauce, dried fruits, rich oaky barrel, leather and tobacco. Taste is all of the above but with a quite strange tart cherry thing going in. Is this turning or was that intended? Absolute beast if it wasn't for that (like 4,6+). Massive. thick body and very nice chocolatey boozy finish. Very hard to rate.
0,375 litre Bottle, at home. Black with little brown head. Roasted malts, bourbon, oak, dried fruits, boozy, warm, Chocolate,

375ml bottle from Tavour. Boozy aroma, sweet. Traditional boozy notes are displaced with sweet chocolate and maple. Boozy, burn at the finish. Changes quite a bit as it warms. Give it time.
