Sample (thanks fonefan!). Black colour, small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, alcohol, some spices and mild dried fruits and some toasted tones. Flavour is really sweet sherry, alcohol, amaretto, coffee and some toasted and nutty tones. Very sugary sweet. Dessert beer. King of rum raisin finish.

Fairly thick, sweet, boozy. Caramel, bourbon, raisins. Rich, aggressive. Somehow still decently balanced, delicious.

375ml bottle pours out dark brown topped with a small ring of a head. Nose is rich malts lots of heat layers of barrels. Taste is more of the very complex barrels brown sugar toffee caramel heat.

375ml bottle. Heavy, complex and malty with some caramel, toffee, syrup, loads of bourbon, some dry notes and warming alcohol. Nice one.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy dark brown with small beige head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is oak, bourbon, dark fruit, licorice. Slick body, bourbon, licorice, wood, caramel, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

Flaska från DrikBeer, b2, 2021. Mörk brunrostig, murken och ingen som helst krona. Oerhörda gardiner i glaset. Överslag på russin, katrinplommon, dessertvin gjort på druvor med ädelröta. Rejäl våg av hetta, med både hetta och smak från Bourbon-faten. Lagom kryddighet. Trots stor hetta blir det inte i närheten av för mycket. Går tvärtom kanske över lite väl snabbt. Oxiderat, romrussin, kolaremmar, dessertvin, johannesbröd, likörpralin, fruktläder. Drypande.

ABV: 17.0%. Clear dark to medium red brown colour with a small, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dark malt, dried fruit, boozy, peppery, vanilla - barrel, moderate toasted - roasted. Flavor is heavy sweet with a long duration, dried fruit, boozy, caramel, dark malt, bourbon - vanilla, rich, thick - heavy. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20210529]
