On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is citrus and floral. Thin body, citrus, wheat, light finish, good.

Curious blonde ale, with the blood oranges not leaving the pint too sweet or tart; grainy malts provide an nice base, and the Hallertaus complement the citrus. There’s a funky note underneath, though, and I can’t tell if it’s due to yeast or maybe from dry-hopping with such a strong Noble hop. It’s not unpleasant—it actually adds a nice earthy layer to the beer—but it’s unexpected. Not bad.
