Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with an eggshell white foamy head that took it's time to dissipate. Once it did, mild lace formed around my glass
Aroma: dark toast, cocoa powder, white bread and dark bread, roasted grains, sweet earthiness and some piney-ness
Flavor: wraps up all the prior noted aromas to blend semi-sweet with substantial malt dryness. Mild aftertaste of dark bread and earthy to piney qualities
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, semi-dry on my tongue, semi-crisp yet dry finish which was somewhat roasty too
Overall: I'd say a pretty nicely done Dunkel lager I'd bang again but also seemed close to being a dark lager too.

Canned 9/14/22, drunk 2/20/22. Clear dark, dark beige head, moderate retention. Clean, malty, quite dry in the nose with hints of toast, honey and lots of mineral and light ash. Soft, malty, well-attenuated, clean and lightly bready with hints of toast, light caramel and chocolate. Good base malt character with no excessive specialty malts. Mineral and low hop character with no flaw or alcohol noted.

On tap at black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is roast, cocoa, licorice. Slick body, licorice, roast, cracker, dry finish, very good.
