12 oz can from Orange & Brew. Well, I'll post this until the admins figure out this is mostly just a canned latte with alcohol added. Shhhh! It poured brown and still like any canned latte. Just a little bit of milk foam around the edge of the glass. The smell just had a note of coffee, mostly showing vanilla and cream. So this is not a stout at all. Just a canned latte. But for what it is, it tastes just fine. I can't pick up any alcohol. So I couldn't say whether it would pick me up or make me drowsy. It does make a good mixer with vodka, or a base for a White Russian. It's also interesting that it is noted as a blend of Arabica or Robusta coffee. Decades of my custom at Starbucks has led me to believe that Robusta is a cheaper, harsher coffee, but further reading reveals its character gives it a good crema in espresso, and a stronger caffeine content. No mistake, it's pretty tasty as ready-to-drink coffees go. And I gave it pretty good marks for being a good example of what it really is.

Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours cafe au lait with a few bubbles. Aroma of coffee and a bit of milk. Med body. It's rather sweet. Much like coffee with milk and a fair amount of sugar. Probably not very healthy.

From a can. Milky light tan. Light chocolate and coffee aromas and flavors. Barely perceptible beer/alcohol character. Tasty though

11 oz slim can. Aroma is coffee, milk, bell pepper, wet stone. Looks like chocolate milk or coffee and milk with no head. Taste is highly sweet, never cloying, finishing with a hint of bitterness and some light dryness; flavors of coffee, chocolate milk. Very light alcohol presence. No carbonation. A lot like an iced coffee that you'd get in the drive-thru at Starbucks. This is tasty af, but not beer-like at all.

Probably wouldn’t have tried this without prompting. Better than it has any right to be - cheers Matt L.

Small skinny can. Pour is totally unexpected, no foam and it looks like heavy cream milky colored coffee, no lie! Smell is chocolate milk? First taste? Look, this stuff is not beer and I don't know what it is but to be rate-able as a beer is WTF happy bullshit. Oh, the taste, it makes me almost want to dump it. Almost sends a gag reflex. But then there is the weird attractiveness, keep sipping, not too much. It taste like heavy cream with shades of black coffee, too. Weird alky laced milky bomb, no this is not beer, gettittouttahhere. Cannot finish, weird, yucky kucky. I'd put this stuff in the basement with those stupid ass chelada bud lights, heheheh. Yea, get a yahoo add a bit of strong coffee and them put a shopt of grain in it, there you have it. Not a stout by any measure of the continuum.

Sampled from a can. Poured like coffee with cream. No head, no lacing. The aroma was strong chocolate, malted milk and coffee. The flavor was strong chocolate milk, coffee and vanilla. Medium length finish. Full bodied and creamy.
