ABV: (12.0%). Clear dark black brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate - coffee, hazelnut, barrel. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, hazelnut, chocolate, coffee, dark malt, sweet malt, rich, heavy, barrel - bourbon, coconut - cinnamon touch - feel. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20240217]

Bottle (from Pien Webshop). Pitch black colour with a small head. Aroma is chocolate syrup, some nutty tones with mild cinnamon, some alcohol, burnt sugar and mild coconut. Flavour is coconut, some toffee, hazelnut and mild alcohol sweetness with chocolate sauce and syrupy tones. Rather sweet, but still a good sipper.

(Bottle, 0.65l - a sample, at Pien Shop, 20231013) The beer poured thick and black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had vanilla, burnt malts, sweetness, treacle and burnt malts. Palate was full bodied, warming and sticky sweet with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vanilla, sweetness, almonds, burnt malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, sweet and bitter. A sweet and boozy brew with some pleasant notes.

Florida man 2.0 tasting. Bottle from Ölkassen. Black with brief, beige head. Loads of hazelnut through and through. Fairly sweet. Raw gingerbread dough. Great stuff!
